Harvard Moves

Harvard Moves in Western PA! Join the Harvard Club of Western Pennsylvania at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10th.

Let’s meet at the Frick Park Environmental Center [2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217] where you will enjoy your choice of a leisurely walk or a brisk run from the Falls Ravine Trail to the South Clayton Trail Loop and return. This 2.0-mile loop trail near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 51-minutes to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. This trail begins from the parking area off Beechwood Boulevard. From here, it heads into the beautiful woodlands of Frick Park. The trail crosses several creeks and passes by a picnic area and restrooms at Frick Park Hollow and has plenty of spots to sit along the way. In spring, the forest really comes alive with plenty of colorful wildflowers and songbirds, which add to this trail's beauty.  There is access to washrooms and a water fountain at the Environmental Center. Note that there are parking spaces off Beechwood Blvd. and near the Frick Environmental Center and the Frick Park Gatehouses.
