Please join the HCWPA for a evening of music performed by Robert Levin (piano) (Harvard College '68), Noah Bendix-Balgley (violin) and Peter Wiley (cello). Their program will be as follows:
Schubert – Piano Trio No. 1 in B-flat major, D. 898
Schubert – Piano Trio No. 2 in E-flat major, D. 929
Monday, 5/6/2019 in the last subscription concert on the 2018-2019 Chamber Music Pittsburgh (CMP) season, at the Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland. For those who may have missed Robert Levin's appearance several years ago as our invited Speaker for the 2014 HCWPA Annual Dinner, he is an alumnus of Harvard '68, served as Professor in the Harvard Music Department for many years, and is a world renowned Mozart scholar, improviser, and performer. He will be playing alongside violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley (previous Pittsburgh Symphony Concertmaster, now with Berlin Philharmonic) and Peter Wiley (long time cellist for the legendary Beaux Arts Trio), in a program featuring 2 Schubert Piano Trios.
